100% carbon and therefore ultra light: one shoe of shoe size 39 weighs less than 300gr, including laces.
The shell of the shoe is thermoplastic. You can heat the shoe in a hot air oven at 100°C. Because the shell is made of 100% carbon, it takes extra effort to deform. Note: a full carbon shell is always less deformable than a half carbon shell.
The shoe has vertical mounting slots which, in combination with horizontal slots, present on most frames, allow you to go in all directions.
“ProLock ankle padding” is the typical and unique feature of this shoe: the way in which the heel and ankle are shaped ensures that the heel is perfectly "locked" and stays in place while skating.
“High density padding” in the shoe retains its resilience for a very long time, which means that the cushioning is maintained even after a longer period of time, unlike many other types of padding in other shoes where the cushioning is lost over time.

“Waxed” laces that stay in place better after lacing and tying.
Both the outer and inner leather are synthetic.
The biggest asset of the A1 shoe is the combination of comfort and ankle support. You often have one of both, but this shoe guarantees both requirements of the experienced skater. The shoe is comfortable enough and offers sufficient support at the same time. Due to its slightly lower ankle edge, the athlete will also experience a lot of freedom of movement of the ankle, without sacrificing support. Minimal, but still just enough padding has been used, which makes the shoe feel very direct during skating and therefore steers very directly.
